Things You'll Need
- Wedding dress
- Sewing kit
- Sewing machine
- Pattern for basic christening dress

Lay out the wedding dress on a flat surface like a large dining room table or craft table.

Take enough fabric from the skirt of the wedding dress to cut out the pattern for the basic christening dress.

Sew the basic christening dress, following the instructions on the pattern. It will typically require sewing the long bodice and the two sleeves.
