DIY Silver Branch Centerpiece for Wedding

A silver branch centerpiece is an ideal choice for a winter-season wedding since it helps capture the essence of a winter-wonderland theme. The centerpieces also can be a fitting choice for a wedding that focuses on glitz and glamor. The silver branch centerpieces can be as simple or elaborate as your wedding decor denotes and can be easily constructed with supplies from a local arts and crafts store.

Things You'll Need

  • Branches
  • Vase
  • Silver spray paint
  • Gemstones
  • Rhinestones
  • Hot glue gun
  • Ornaments
  • Fishing line
  • Beads
  • Electric candles
  • Gather branches for each centerpiece, such as birch branches or Manzanita.

  • Spray paint all of the branches silver and allow to dry completely.

  • Fill a clear glass vase about half full with silver beads and gemstones. Cluster the branches into the vase, inserted amid the gemstones.

  • Glue rhinestones or silver gemstones to the branches for a touch of glitz.

  • String silver and crystal beads onto fishing line and hang them from the silver branches. This makes them appear to hover around the branches, adding to the sparkle of the branches.

  • Hang small electric candles, suspended on fishing line, from the branches to help enhance the sparkle from the beads, gemstones and silver paint.

Tips & Warnings

  • Hang silver and white Christmas ornaments from the branches if the wedding is in November or December.
