How to Remove Cursive Q Redirect
The Cursive Q Redirect is a virus that infects Web browsers and causes all search inquiries to be redirected to undesirable, spam-filled websites. These websites often display a cursive "Q" as the icon of the page. Windows computers come preinstalled with a program called Windows Defender that is capable of removing the Cursive Q Redirect Virus and getting your computer back up and running safely.

Close any open Web browsers.

Click the Windows Start button located at the bottom-left of the screen.

Type “Windows Defender” in the Search box at the bottom of the Start menu and press “Enter.” The Windows Defender program launches.

Click “Scan” from the top menu and then select “Full Scan.” Windows Defender scans your entire computer system for the Cursive Q Redirect virus. The virus files are quarantined and automatically removed. This could several minutes to several hours depending on how infected your computer is.

Click the “X” in the upper-right corner of Windows Defender to close the application once the scan is complete and the Cursive Q Redirect virus has been removed.
