Reinstalling a Door Sensor for an Alarm System

Instructions

1. Affix the magnet part of the door sensor on the door frame. Position the magnet at a height of around 5 foot 2 inches to avoid it being knocked by children.

2. Attach the emitter part of the sensor to the door. Ensure that the two halves are exactly parallel to each other.

3. Keep the distance between two parts of the sensor less than about 1/2-inch apart. The exact distance required will depend on the model of the alarm.
