How to Make Hearts in Picnik

Picnik is an online image editing suite provided by Google. Rather than use potentially expensive or complicated desktop applications, Picnik allows users to simply edit their photos in the Web browser. Users upload the image to Picnik, which can then be edited -- users can add text, images and other effects. Once finished, the image can be re-downloaded to your desktop. Adding hearts to your photos using Picnik is simple using the available free stickers.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your Web browser and navigate to the Picnik website. Click “Get Started.”

    • 2

Click “Upload a photo.” Select the image you wish to add hearts to from your computer and click “Open.” Picnik will upload the image to its servers and open the image editing suite.

    • 3

Select the “Edit” tab, if not already selected (it should open to the “Edit” tab automatically).

    • 4

Click “Stickers.” Scroll to “Basic Shapes” in the left-hand sidebar.

    • 5

Opt for the heart image, which will appear on your photo. Move and resize the heart to your liking, as well as select the desired color. To add additional hearts, simply click the heart image in the sidebar again.

    • 6

Click the “Save & Share” tab when you are done editing your photo. Set the desired image options and click “Save Photo.” Select a location to save the photo and click “Save.” The image, with the added hearts, is saved to your computer.

Tips & Warnings

  • Other Sticker categories beyond the “Basic Shapes” may also include hearts. Some categories require a premium account.
