How to Line Up False Eyelashes

Lining up your false eyelashes gets easier with practice.

False eyelashes can add some pizzazz to your eyes for a special occasion or even for an everyday look. Applying a pair of false eyelashes can be tricky -- especially when lining them up evenly. With a few simple steps and some practice, you'll be applying your false eyelashes with ease in no time.

Instructions

1. Remove eyelashes from their box and be sure that there is the right amount of adhesive on the lash line so they attach to the eyelid.

2. Gently pull the eyelid down with your finger, giving easy access to the lid line.

3. Eyeball the center of the false eyelash and the center of the lid line on your eye. This is the spot where you will line them up.

4. Attach the fake eyelash from the center point and then slowly pat the eyelash along the lid line, being sure to keep it as straight as possible.

5. Blink to be sure the false eyelash is securely attached. Take the lower lid gently and attach the lower false eyelash just as you attached the top, being sure to line up the center of the lash with the center of the lid.

Tips & Warnings

• Some false eyelashes come in sections rather than one entire row of eyelashes. For these types of false eyelashes, it's best to apply them from the outer corner of the eye inward.
