It can be difficult to keep kids entertained with the standby activities on a rainy day, so to beat boredom, skip the board games and set up your own mad scientist laboratory in the kitchen. Tips & Warnings
The slime can be stored in Ziplock bags or plastic containers when not in use. Boost the educational value of the activity by explaining how the goo works as a liquid polymer, or have the kids hypothesize about what would happen if the ratio of ingredients changed in the recipe. Gel varieties of school glue may be substituted for the white glue if you don't have any on hand. If the goo is too sticky, add a few more drops of liquid starch to the mixture.
