How to Hide the Twitter Tab From the User Profile Page With Drupal

The Pictures tab is the only Drupal field tab included with the Drupal core by default. However, through customization, you can add other field tabs. If you've added a Twitter tab to your Drupal user profile content type and have decided you no longer want to display it, you can easily hide it. Hiding it, rather than deleting it, makes it easy to re-enable the tab should you change your mind at a later date.

Instructions

    • 1

Log in to your Drupal website and click on "Structure." Click on "Profile Types."

    • 2

Click on "Edit" next to the "Main Profile" field. If you're using a custom profile type, click "Edit" next to it instead. Click on the "Manage Display" tab in the upper right corner.

    • 3

Click on the "Twitter" field and drag it down into the "Hidden" column. Click on "Save."
