How to Remove MSN Bot
The MSN Bot is a Virus that is capable of spreading through the MSN Messenger program. When your computer is infected, the virus automatically attempts to spread via your contacts in Messenger. An antivirus can remove the virus from your computer and ensure your computing activity is safe. Windows computers come installed with the Windows Defender program that is capable of removing the MSN Bot from your system.

Exit out of any open programs.

Click the Windows orb located in the bottom-left of the screen.

Enter “Windows Defender” in the Search field at the bottom of the Start Menu and press “Enter.” The Windows Defender program launches.

Click “Scan” from the Windows Defender top menu, then select “Full Scan.” The tool searches for the MSN Bot harmful files. The files are then quarantined and removed. This could take several hours depending on how many files reside on your system and how badly infected your computer is.

Click the “X” in the upper-right corner of the Windows Defender window to close the program after the MSN Bot has been removed.
