Tumblr is a social networking site that allows you to upload videos, music and photos to share with friends. Other users can then "reblog" your items to share with their friends. When uploading music to Tumblr, you have the option to upload a file directly from your computer or share a link from the Internet. Make sure you have rights to use the song before sharing it over the Internet.

Log into your Tumblr account using your user email address and password. Click "Log In." The website will automatically direct you to the Tumblr dashboard.

Click "Audio" in the top right corner of the screen. This is the main menu bar.

Click "Browse" and select the song you wish to upload from your personal computer collection. This song must be in MP3 format to play on Tumblr. Click "OK" and wait for the song to upload to your account.

Click the "external source" tab, if you wish to post a link to a song. Paste the link to the song in the designated box. Click "OK" and wait for the file to load.
