How to Bleach Flames on Skinny Jeans

Things You'll Need

• Pencil
• Paper
• Skinny jeans
• Ballpoint pen
• Rubber gloves
• Bleach pen
• Paper towel
• Water

Instructions

1. Sketch your design onto a piece of paper. Using a pencil, draw a rough representation of your jeans and then draw where and what size you want the flames to be. Once you are finished, evaluate your drawing. Check that you are happy with the outcome before you bleach the designs on your skinny jeans.

2. Lay the jeans flat. Draw your flame design onto your skinny jeans with a ballpoint pen.

3. Put on rubber gloves. Carefully trace over the ballpoint pen markings with your bleach pen. You might want to fill in some, all or none of the flames with bleach.

4. Set the skinny jeans aside. Let them dry for twenty minutes.

5. Wipe off any bleach that is not absorbed with a paper towel. Rinse the jeans under a faucet to remove any excess bleach. Let the jeans dry completely. After they have dried and you are happy with the level of fading on the flames, you are finished. If you want the flames to be lighter, apply another layer of bleach to all affected areas and repeat the process.
