Instructions

    • 1

Drape lengths of red and white fabric from the walls of the room. Cut lengths of red and white satin fabric so that they equal the length of the walls. Attach the fabric to the top of the wall with push pins in an alternating red and white pattern.

    • 2

Frame carnival posters in decorative frames, or pictures of animals and people that are often related to a carnival; an elephant or a clown, for example. Hang the frames on the walls of the space.

    • 3

Inflate latex balloons with air. Staple the knots of the balloons to a piece of poster board. Hang the poster board on a wall. This element not only serves as a decoration, but carnival goers can toss balls at them to pop the balloons, turning it into a game. Create a few of these balloon boards to use as replacements.

    • 4

Apply glue to the bottoms of three paper towel tubes to create a ring toss game to display on the wall. Attach the tubes to a piece of poster board in a triangle formation. Hang the poster board onto the wall. Provide guests with embroidery hoops, which they can try to toss onto the paper towel tubes.
