Edit your media library's song properties to delete track information.

Track numbers are part of an individual song's information that improve organization of songs within a media library, but the wrong track information can create a mess and affect the proper playback order of stored albums. Thankfully, all track information including artist name, song title, album and track number is customizable within the song's properties, and automatically updates other devices that contain the track during device syncs. Once changed, the song's order changes as well depending on the number of songs on the music album.
