How to Make a Long Necklace Into a Double Strand
If you have a necklace that is too long or you simply want to change its design, rather than cut it to make it shorter, you can turn it into a double-stranded necklace. This works particularly well on pearl or beaded necklaces. Make sure that the length of the original necklace is twice as long as the intended length of the finished product.
