  • Cotton balls
  • Ridge-filling base coat

      Apply nail polish remover to cotton balls. Rub them onto fingernails to remove any old or remaining nail polish. This is only necessary if there is existing polish on your nails.

      Brush on a ridge-filling base coat. Dip the brush into the ridge-filling base coat and brush one stroke down the middle of each nail. Run the brush down the left and then the right of the middle coat.

      Dip a nail polish brush into the glitter nail polish of your choice. Tap it against the side of the nail polish bottle to remove excess polish. Swipe it once down the middle of the fingernail.
