How to Give Minerals to Your Ally in "StarCraft"
The "StarCraft" series of real-time strategy games offers several different multiplayer modes, including free-for-all and team-based battles. After one of your team members in a multiplayer battle has been attacked by enemies, he may find it hard to collect enough minerals to quickly rebuild his defenses, especially if the enemy killed several of his gatherers. In this case, you can send him some of your minerals to help him get back on his feet. However, you can only do this in "StarCraft II," as the option to do so doesn't exist in the original "StarCraft" or the "StarCraft: Brood War" expansion.

Tips & Warnings
If you are the one who has been attacked and is struggling to recover, you can use the same menu to request aid from your allies.
You can use the same menu to send vespene gas to your allies, either at the same time as you are sending minerals or separately.
The option to send and receive resources is only enabled after several minutes of game time have elapsed. If the option is not yet enabled, the resource trading menu tells you exactly how long you have to wait.
