How to Use a Kennel Cab Seat Belt Slot

If you are worried about the safety of your pet while riding in a crate in your vehicle, the Kennel Cab may be the right product. The Kennel Cab is made by Petmate, a subsidiary of Doskocil Manufacturing Co. Inc. The Kennel Cab has a seatbelt slot on the kennel, allowing you to buckle your pet into your vehicle safely.

Instructions

1. Place your pet into the Kennel Cab and securely latch the gate.

2. Set your Kennel Cab on the seat of your vehicle with the gate facing toward the front.

3. Pull the seatbelt out all the way until it clicks, and thread the bottom of the belt through the slot at the top of the kennel.

4. Buckle the seatbelt into the belt receiver. Pull on the top of the seatbelt until you remove all of the slack from the belt. Many cars have a locking mechanism that engages when the belt is pulled out completely; as the belt retracts the seatbelt will lock into place.
