Use a knife to cut slices out of the cake. You have complete control of how many slices you want and the size of the slices. Cut the right number and size of slices for your necklace.

Use your toothpick to punch a hole in your slices of cake, through which you can thread your necklace wire.

Use the toothpick to texturize the surface of your cake slices. You may gently swirl the surface of the clay with your toothpick, should you wish to create such an effect.

Pour liquid clay over the surface of your cake slices, to create the effect of frosting. Allow the clay to dry.
