How to Get the Ice in "Poptropica Haunted House"
"Poptropica" is an virtual world created for children to explore and learn in a safe online environment. The "Islands" of "Poptropica" provide most of its gameplay, but smaller adventures called "MiniQuests" are available through the "Poptropica" Store. One such place in the Haunted House. Arriving by blimp and making your way through the basement door and into the kitchen, you'll find the message "Ice soothes the burning dead" written on the wall next to a freezer. Because the freezer is full of ice yet there's no obvious way to obtain any, it's time to look for a solution.

Continue past the kitchen, into the hall with the watchful paintings and up the stairs until you trip over a suit of armor.

Take out your frustrations by jumping on top of it, loosening the knight's grip on his pickax so that it falls to the ground. Pick it up.

Return to the kitchen and remove some ice from the freezer by using the pickax to break it up. The ice is one of the four treasures that the white cat in the room before the kitchen needs to tell you where the dead are.
