How to Make a Bedazzled Necklace

The Bedazzler is a tool that attaches rhinestones and beads to fabric to embellish them. The tool presses small spikes through the fabric to grab onto the underside of the fabric you work with. You can create a Bedazzled necklace out of fabric such as felt, leather or denim, and embellish the necklace on the Bedazzler using whatever combination of beads and stones you desire.

Instructions

    • 1

Trace the shape of the Bedazzle section of the necklace on the fabric you want to use, like a crescent moon, star, heart or circle.

    • 2

Cut the shape out of the fabric with scissors.

    • 3

Cut two lengths of 1/4-inch ribbon that fit from the sides of the fabric cutouts around your neck. Stitch the ribbons to the undersides of each side of the Bedazzle shape.

    • 4

Use the Bedazzler tool to press rhinestones or metal studs onto the fabric cutout.

    • 5

Fit the metal crimp ends onto the ends of the ribbon. Press the metal ends together using flat nose fliers.

    • 6

Open two jump rings. Attach one part of the necklace clasp to each metal crimp with a jump ring. Clasp the necklace together.
