How to Remove Crosstab Borders in Cognos Report Studio
Cognos Report Studio is the report design tool used with the IBM Cognos data mining and business intelligence analysis application. Cognos Report Studio provides many preformatted templates and styles for reports, including table styles for crosstab reports. You can remove crosstab borders in Cognos Report Studio by selecting another table style template for the crosstabs. Select a table style that hides the gridlines in the crosstab tables.

Open the crosstab report to edit in Cognos Report Studio.

Right-click on the crosstab and then click “Apply Table Style” from the context menu. A window of several preformatted table styles opens.

Click on a preformatted crosstab table style that hides the gridlines in the crosstabs. The crosstab formatting is applied.
