How to Paste Links on Facebook From a Mac thumbnail
Facebook automatically formats links you post with headings and descriptions.

Facebook gives you a status update box on your wall where you can post different types of content, including website links. If you're using an Apple computer running the Mac OS X 10.5 operating system or later, you can copy the address of a website and paste it on Facebook to share the link with your contacts.

Instructions

    • 1

Click on the "Safari" icon in the dock at the bottom of your Mac's screen. Safari is the default Web browser in the Mac OS X operating system.

    • 2

Navigate to the Web page that you want to share with your Facebook network.

    • 3

Triple-click on the Web page's address in the top toolbar to highlight the entire address.

    • 4
