How to Make Dinosaur Costumes Out of Sweats
Have a roaring good time this Halloween by creating a dinosaur costume out of sweats. Whether you're a dinosaur-loving kid or an adult looking for a light-hearted costume, a sweat suit dinosaur costume is easy to make. Since the costume is made of cheap materials that are easy to find, dressing as a dinosaur is inexpensive and makes a great last minute costume, too. Plus, the warmth of the sweats helps shield these dinosaurs from chilly October air.

1
Cut triangular shaped dinosaur teeth out of the white felt. While the teeth can be as large or small as you'd like, 1 inch by 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches tends to be a good size. Pin the teeth along the rim of the hood, then sew them in place with a needle and thread.

Adhere two googly eyes to the hood with hot glue.

Create a tail by cutting one pair of sweat pants apart down the center seam. Grab one leg, and cut off the elastic at the waist and the ankle. Use scissors to trim the leg's fabric into a pointier tail shape. Sew the tail until just the area near where the pants' waist is open, then stuff it with cotton batting. Sew the tail to the bottom of the other pair of pants.

4
Cut several diamond shapes, with sides about 4 to 5 inches long, out of the yellow felt. Fasten them down the back of the sweatshirt using hot glue. Continue by gluing more yellow diamonds down the top of the pants and down the dinosaur tail.
