How to Dress for ANTM Casting
Tyra Banks is the brains behind the operation of "America's Next Top Model," a reality television show where young women compete to get a contract with one of the top modeling agencies and, of course, CoverGirl Cosmetics. ANTM holds open casting calls all over the country to find contestants. If you want to tryout for the show, dress appropriately to improve your chances of getting cast.

1
Wear a tank top on the upper half of your body. Elaborate, flowy shirts don't give the directors a chance to see your figure and expensive dresses take away from the natural bone structure and beauty you need to showcase.
-
2
Wear jeans in favor of other types of pants. Skinny jeans or regular are acceptable, just make sure they're form fitting and allow the casters to see your bodily proportions at a glance.

3
Accent your height with your favorite pair of heels. A good pair of heels are a model's best friend and should always be available when you're going to a casting call or go-see. You might be in line for awhile, so wear the most comfortable pair you have.

Take it easy on the makeup. A model's face is a blank canvas and, as casting director Michelle Mock-Falcon states, "We’ve had girls who’ve had to go take all their makeup off because they have so much of it on." You can wear some blush and cover up if necessary, but avoid anything excessive and don't wear wigs or anything designed to drastically alter your appearance.
