How to Make Movie-Themed Centerpieces Yourself

Give your tables a movie theme.

Movie-themed weddings and events require centerpieces that match the theme. You can select a movie for each table that needs a centerpiece, giving each table its own unique touch. The movies should have personal meaning to you and your guests, regardless of the genre. This is a creative way to decorate and will encourage guests to visit other tables to see what their themes are.

• Printer
• 8-inch by 10-inch photo stock
• Frames
• Item for each movie
• Paper
• Scissors
• Small vases
• Flowers

Instructions

1. Go online and find high-quality images of the poster for each of your selected movies.

2. Print the posters on 8-by-10 stock. Have this done professionally if you do not have a laser printer.

3. Put the prints into photo frames and place one in the middle of each table.

4. Add an item from the movie to the table. For example, "Indiana Jones" may have a whip or fedora on the table, while "Say Anything" may have a boombox.

5. Print memorable quotes from each movie, then cut the page into strips with one quote on each. Scatter the strips around the frame.

6. Put a few, small, flower vases among the centerpiece and add flowers that match the colors or theme of the movie, for example red roses for "American Beauty" or poppies for "The Wizard of Oz."
