DIY Brooch Sash

A flower brooch is a good complement to a white dress.

A brooch or sash pin can provide an elegant touch to an outfit for a formal occasion, but they can be a bit pricey. Making your own brooch will not only save you money, but it will also add a personal touch that will cause you to stand out in the crowd if done with care. A brooch sash is rather simple to make yourself and requires only a few materials.

Things You'll Need

• Silk flower
• Scissors
• Glue
• Pin
• Fake leaf or piece of fabric

Instructions

1. Snip the silk flower from the stem with the scissors.

2. Glue the pin to the back of the flower in the center.

3. Glue a fake leaf or a piece of fabric over the spine of the pin, and your brooch is finished.
