How to Make AutoCAD PLT Files

A file with the PLT file extension is an AutoCAD Plotter file. The PLT file contains information for a specific plotter for printing the AutoCAD drawing on the device. A PLT file contains the drawing the file is generated from. The PLT file is a finalized, uneditable printer file, similar to a PRN file. Create a PLT file using the AutoCAD Plot to File feature.
