Instructions

Even out your complexion by applying a primer all over your face using your fingers or a foundation brush. Once this has tried, apply tinted moisturizer or foundation over your skin, taking care to blend the foundation onto the ears, past the jaw and into the hairline to avoid foundation lines.

    • 2

Prepare the eyelids for powder by smoothing foundation or an eyelid primer over the skin using your ring finger. The ring finger is not as strong as other fingers, so there is less tugging on the eyelid, which can lead to wrinkles over time.

    • 3

Choose your makeup colors. Rather than picking something that matches the cheetah print like browns and oranges, select something that compliments the shades. Subtle pinks, golds, bronzes, and violets are a good choice for eyes. Nude or pink are a good choice for lips and cheeks.

Apply a midshade color all over the eyelid from the lashes to the crease, or the hollow of the eye socket using an eyeshadow brush. Apply a slightly darker shade in the same color family to the crease from the outside edge of the eye to the midpoint of the eye. Apply a light shade in the same color family to the inside corner of the eye and just below the eyebrow on the brow bone.

    • 5

Line the eye lashes with a brown liner pencil from the outer corner of the eye to the inner corner. Lightly smudge this line using the ring finger until the line looks natural. Brush black mascara onto the lashes.

    • 6

Dust sheer or very light pink blush onto the apples of the cheeks using a powder brush, blending back along the cheekbone and ending just past the eye. Make sure that the blush is very lightly applied, you do not want to be able to identify where the blush begins and ends. Lightly blend bronzer to the temples if desired.

Apply pink or nude lipstick to the lips by running the lipstick along the upper and lower lips and then blotting lips with a tissue. Reapply lipstick one more time. Apply a light gloss over lipstick if desired.
