How to Make a Chinese Necklace
Chinese culture is thousands of years old and is the longest-running geographically continuous culture on earth. It has given rise to many different styles of clothing and fashion accessories for both males and females. In particular, there are many styles of necklaces worn by women. For these, both jade and pearl are among the most popular stones for Chinese necklaces. To create a Chinese-style pearl necklace, follow a few steps. Does this Spark an idea?

Choose the pearls that match your shade and texture by comparing them to your skin tone. Also, choose the size, color, brightness and quality of the stones you would like around your neck.

Find your wire and cut it about 6 inches longer than the finished necklace is to be.

String two crimp beads onto one side of the wire. Attach half of the clasp onto the side of the wire. Next, push the wire back through the crimp beads that were placed on the wire earlier. Use the crimping tool to lock it in place.

String the pearls though the wire until it is approximately the length you desire. They should go through both ends where the clamp is secured.

Attach the other two crimping beads to the wire as well as the second part of the clasp. Secure the necklace one more time with the crimping tool.
