How to Make a Wine Bottle Guitar Slide
Wine bottle slides are used by guitarists in order to create a specific sound. The tool, made from a wine bottle neck and placed over the finger, enables the musician to create sliding sounds on the instrument. The tool has been used by popular musicians as far back as the 1930s, including Roger Johnson in his recording of "Traveling Riverside Blues."

3
Arrange the wine bottle cutter so that the cutting device cuts into the neck of the wine bottle around three inches from the top of the bottle, before the bottle begins to curve.
