How to Crochet Ball Buttons
When crocheting a sweater with buttonholes, crochet small ball buttons to allow you to close the sweater. Crocheted buttons add texture to an existing sweater or jacket. The size of the crochet hook you use, along with the weight of the yarn, will determine the size of the button. For a small button, use lightweight yarn and a small hook; for a larger button, use a larger hook or thicker yarn.
