Instructions

    • 1

Wear oversized green sweatpants and a hooded sweatshirt as a base for the costume. Place the hood up to look like the top of the dinosaur's head. Hot glue Styrofoam balls to the hood for the eyes. Add eyeball markings using black marker.

    • 2

Add triangular teeth cut from white craft foam around the edge of the hood, using hot glue to fix them in position.

    • 3

Cut out a long, narrow triangle of green fabric to make the tail. Fold it in half lengthwise, with the right side of the fabric facing in, and use fabric glue to join the long seam. Turn it right side out, and fill with batting or plastic shopping bags.

    • 4

Hot glue or pin the tail to the back of the sweatpants.

    • 5

Cut spike shapes from cardboard and glue yellow craft foam onto them, then hot glue them to the hood, the back of the sweatshirt and the top of the tail. Graduate the size of the spikes for a more professional finish.

    • 6

Cut long claw shapes from yellow craft foam and hot glue to the fingers of the gloves.

    • 7

Cover shoes with dinosaur foot shapes cut from green craft foam. Add claws cut from yellow craft foam.

Tips & Warnings
