How to Hide a YouTube Button
When you embed a YouTube video into your website or blog, you may take issue with the fact that the YouTube logo or "button" appears in the bottom-right corner. Whatever your reasons for not wanting it there, there's a simple fix for making it go away. To make these changes, you need to access the embed code you originally added to your site or blog.
Instructions
-
-
1
Log in to the blog or website that contains the YouTube button, and then navigate to the page where the YouTube video is located.
-
2
Set your content management system to display in HTML or Source mode, as opposed to Visual mode.
-
-
3
Look for the YouTube embed code on the page. Typically, a YouTube embed code has language that looks something like this at the beginning:
That is followed by code that you may not understand, but look for the words "YouTube" somewhere in the code. That indicates that you've found the code for your YouTube video. Within the embed code, look for the text that says "VIDEOID?"
-
4
Type the following text directly after the "VIDEOID?" text:
?modestbranding=1
Add this text after every instance of the "VIDEOID?" text in the code.
-
5
Click "Save Changes" or a similar button to save the changes you just made to the page.

Tips & Warnings
If you've already added parameters, such as hiding the YouTube video title to the embed code, hiding the YouTube button will not work.
