Instructions

  1. Flower Pops

    • 1

Create a floral arrangement of lollipops to greet guests as they enter the party. For this, tissue paper will form the flower petal jacket around a ball-shaped lollipop.

    • 2

Choose tissue paper in bright hues and use Mason jar lids — or anything else circular with about a 5-inch diameter — to trace circles onto tissue paper.

    • 3

Cut out the circles and stacks in fours.

    • 4

Push the stick of the lollipop through the middle of the stacked tissue paper and wrap green floral tape from the base of the flower to the bottom of the stick to look like a flower's stem.

    Ghost Pops

    • 5

Cut out 6-inch squares of white tissue paper and stack them in twos.

    • 6

Wrap the center of the squares over the top of the lollipop, gather the paper at the base of the lollipop, and secure it in place with white string or craft wire.

    • 7

Add plastic googly eyes and a black paper oval for the mouth to the face of the ghost. The face will be the side of the lollipop.

    Lolli-stache and Lolli-lips

    • 8

Use a pencil to draw outlines of lips onto red card paper. Draw big curly mustaches onto brown paper.

    • 9

Cut out all of the shapes and use a utility knife to poke through the very center of each shape.

    • 10

Push the lollipop stick through the hole.

Tips & Warnings

  • Choose spherical lollipops that have wrappers on them. Wrappers will keep the lollipops from becoming contaminated by handling or by the materials used to make the paper jackets.
