DIY Floral Monogram Wreath
A handmade wreath is a charming addition to any entryway. If you are making a floral wreath, consider adding your monogram for a unique touch. Use contrasting colors of flowers to make the monogram stand out against the other flowers. This craft works well for your own home, but you can also give it to a friend as a gift around the holidays. The number of flowers you will need will depend on what sort of flower you use.

1
Trace the first letter of your name onto a foam floral ring, at the bottom center, using a pencil. Use a stencil to get the exact tracing.
-
2
Cut the stems off of 10 to 15 light colored flowers, cutting so that there is just 1 inch of stem on each flower. Stick the flowers into the foam ring, filling in the traced letter, so that the flowers now make up the monogram.

3
Cut the stems off of 20 to 40 dark colored flowers so there is only 1 inch of stem left on each flower. Stick the dark flowers tightly together all over the ring, filling in the negative space around the flower monogram.

4
Tie a piece of satin ribbon around the top of the wreath and use the ribbon to hang the wreath from a door or on the wall.
