How to Run Pandora Through an iPhone on a Pioneer Stereo

There are varieties of Pioneer home stereo receivers that have the ability to connect to an Apple iPhone or iPod. Once you connect your iPhone or iPod to your Pioneer stereo, you can access your Pandora Radio app. The stereo will play the Pandora Radio app directly through the stereo and you can control the app by using your iPhone.

Things You'll Need

• Auxiliary cable

Instructions

1. Turn off and unplug your Pioneer stereo from the electrical outlet.

2. View the back of your Pioneer stereo and locate the control “IN” jack.

3. Insert one end of your auxiliary cable into the control “IN” jack.

4. Plug the other end of the auxiliary cable into the headphone jack on your iPhone.

5. Plug your Pioneer stereo back in and turn it on.

6. Press the “Mode” button on the Pioneer stereo until it reads “AUX.”

7. Open the Pandora APP on your iPhone.

Tips & Warnings

• You can also purchase a Pioneer iPod Dock that can plug into the same port and then plug your iPhone into the dock.
