Mile Marker E12000 Instructions
Mile Marker is a brand of winch that can be mounted to the front or rear of your vehicle or used as a standalone unit. The E12000 is a type of electric winch that is designed for off-road use. However, before the winch can be used, it needs to be assembled and mounted onto a base. A base can include the front or rear frame of your vehicle or a platform mounted to a trailer.

Attach the body of the winch onto the mounting platform with the bolts and nuts. Tighten the nuts onto a bolt with the wrench. Torque the bolts to 35 foot-lbs. with the torque wrench.

Place the motor control box for the winch on top of the motor die casting. Secure the motor control box with bolts using the socket wrench. Attach the tie-wrap, which is included with the winch, to the bracket on the motor die casting. Cut the tie wrap with the cutter pliers.

Slide the rubber boots over the end of the power cables. Route the battery cables for the winch to the battery.

Attach the yellow wire from the control box to the winch by using the screwdriver. Attach the blue wire from the control box to the winch.

Attach the ring connector for black cable for the ground to the negative battery terminal. Attach the red cable to the positive battery terminal. Cover the end of the power cables with the rubber boot.
