How to Sell Bracelets on Facebook
The Facebook Gift Shop that existed in 2009, which allowed individuals to sell items via the social networking site, does not exist as of 2011. However, if you are a crafter who wants to sell your bracelets, or you want to sell plastic bracelets to promote a cause, you can still do so using a Facebook application. By using an app, shoppers can look at your bracelets and purchase them directly from your professional Facebook page.

Sign in to your Facebook account.

Locate the “Create a Page” link at the bottom of the main screen. Click on the link.

On the page that follows, click on the “Brand or Product” box; a text box will then appear. Click on the “Choose a category” tab, choose the “Jewelry/Watches” option and type in the name of your virtual bracelet shop in the following box. Check the box indicating that you agree to Facebook’s terms and click on “Get Started.”

Use the “Edit Page” function on the right side of the screen to edit the information about your professional Facebook page. Use the “Manage Permissions” and “Basic Information” options on the left side of the screen to add your contact information and details about your bracelets. Be sure to click “Save” when you finish adding information.

Add a profile picture by clicking on “Profile Picture,” which is on the left side of the screen when you are on the main page of your Facebook bracelet store site.

Choose an app service that allows you to sell your bracelets on Facebook. The Facebook site provides you with a list of recommended apps when you click on “Apps” on the left side of your main Facebook store page. Click on the “Browse more applications” link toward the bottom of the screen, and then click on “Business” on the following page. In the “Apps You May Like” section that appears, you will find Facebook apps that allow you to sell bracelets and other items.

Click on the icon for the app you wish to use and then on “Go to App” on the following screen.

Create an account with the app service if you do not have one already.

On the app’s webpage, click on the “Edit” or “Settings” link or tab after you create an account so you can add information about yourself and your bracelet store. Use the app’s editing features to add a logo you want to use, remembering to save your information when you finish.

Use the prompts or instructions on the app site so you can add the application to your Facebook page.

Add the bracelets you want to sell using the account you created on the Facebook app’s site. If you have a data feed from a website where you sell your bracelets, you can add it to the app’s site. Otherwise, you will need to add information about your bracelets, their prices and pictures of them one at a time to the app.

To sell bracelets on Facebook, you will need a personal Facebook account, which is free to create. However, it is important to note that it may cost you money to use the services of an app company that allows you to sell your bracelets on Facebook.
