Instructions

    • 1

Apply a liberal amount of polishing compound to a handheld buffing pad. If you are removing a large area of scratches, you may wish to use an electric buffer for faster results.

    • 2

Buff the scratched area using a rapid, circular motion and firm pressure. If you are using an electric buffer, move the pad gradually across the scratched area.

    • 3

Check your progress by wiping the compound off the glass with a microfiber cloth. Reapply more compound to the pad or electric buffer as needed.

    • 4

Wipe the area clean with your microfiber cloth once the scratches are no longer visible. Spray the tempered glass with glass cleaner and wipe dry with a paper towel.

Tips & Warnings

  • If scratches remain, try dusting a pinch of jeweler's rouge over them. The rouge is used to fill small scratches in jewelry and has been known to work on different types of glass.

  • Contact a glass repair company if the scratches are too deep to be buffed out.
