How to Track the Facebook Share Button
Use Facebook Insights, a metric measuring tool, to track the "Like" button activity and shares on your website. Before you can start monitoring the activity on your site, you must add it to the Facebook Insights dashboard. Tracking "Likes" and shares can help you determine what content on your website or blog is the most popular, giving you valuable feedback to determine future content.
