How to Analyze SAP in Java Logs
Log files can be useful in troubleshooting and auditing the use of other software applications, such as those offered by the provider SAP. SAP creates software applications that enable companies to manage inventory, maintain databases of customer data, and perform product and logistics planning. Use the free, Java-based application PolliWog to analyze your log files for SAP software activity.

1
Download, extract, and install the Polliwog web log analyzer from SourceForge's website, in Resources.
-
2
Launch Polliwog and load the log file that you wish to analyze.
-
-
3
Allow Polliwog to parse through the log file and automatically present the log, its columns, rows, and data to the program's graphical user interface.
-
4
Scan through the log and identify any connections, inbound and outbound, made from SAP software applications installed on the computer. SAP software does use the Internet in some of its use cases, so if it has been functioning correctly, there will be activity present in the log file.
