How to Make Your Blogger Videos Show Up on Facebook

Publicizing the video clips on your Blogger blog by encouraging people to view them on Facebook can help to increase traffic to the blog. Facebook does not offer a facility for displaying the actual video clip in the same way that you can post YouTube video clips, but you can use a workaround solution. Promote your Blogger videos on Facebook by directly linking to the blog posts that contain the video clips.

  Launch your Web browser and sign in to your Blogger account. Navigate to the blog post that contains the video clip that you want to publicize on Facebook.

  Highlight and copy the URL Web address of the blog post in your Web browser’s address bar.

  Log in to Facebook. Paste the copied URL into the "What's On Your Mind?" input field under the “Update Status” icon in the menu bar at the top of your home page News Feed. Press “Return” or “Enter” on your computer keyboard. Facebook automatically adds the link to your video clip blog post, including the headline of the post, the URL and a thumbnail of the main image on the post.

  Click the right or left arrow icons next to “Choose a Thumbnail” to select the thumbnail image that you want to include with the link on Facebook. Click the “No Thumbnail” check box if you do not want to include an image with the link.

  Click the share control button with the blue down-facing arrow to choose your privacy settings for the blog post link. You can opt to share the blog post link with everyone, friends of friends, just your friends, or selected individuals.

  Click “Post” at the bottom of the dialog box. This adds the link to your blog post and video clip to Facebook. The link appears in your home page News Feed and on your Facebook profile page Wall. The link will also appear in your friends’ News Feeds and in Facebook search results. Repeat this process for each Blogger video clip that you want to promote on Facebook.
