How to Make Your Own Tossing Bouquet
Give your wedding guests a special surprise during the tossing ceremony with a break-apart bouquet to bestow good fortune in love on more than one lucky lady. The break-apart bouquets are made from miniature versions of the bridal bouquet that are held together with a ribbon until the tossing ceremony is about to begin. The bride releases the simple ribbon discreetly and keeps the entire bouquet in one hand. As she tosses the bouquet, the individual bouquets separate and find their way to multiple ladies waiting below.

1
Cut the stems of six flowers to about 10 inches in length. Use a mixture of the flowers used in your own bridal bouquet. The stems are a little bit longer than a traditional bouquet because the individual bouquets must be assembled together.
-
2
Cut the stems of three pieces of greenery to the same length.
-
3
Arrange the nine pieces together in one hand with the leaves interspersed between the flowers.
-
4
Slide a clear elastic band over the stems and wrap it around the bouquet, just beneath the underside of the flower heads. Cut a piece of 1-inch-wide ribbon and tie it in a bow over top of the elastic.
-
5
Repeat the above step to make two to four more miniature bouquets.
-
6
Wrap a piece of 1 1/2-inch-wide ribbon around the entire collection of bouquets, over top of the 1-inch-wide ribbons.
