How to Attach a Piping Presser Foot to the Sewing Machine
Sewing piping around the edge of a pillow or in the seam of a piece of clothing is simple to do with a sewing machine. Each machine has a special foot called a piping foot. The piping foot has odd-shaped grooves under the foot to hold the piping in place while sewing. Attach a piping foot to a sewing machine in less than 15 seconds.

Move the lever back to release the pressure foot. Remove the pressure foot.

Position the piping foot in the same position as the pressure foot you just removed. Slide the end of the piping foot shaft onto the sewing machine shaft.
