How to Adjust the Oven Thermostat on a Hotpoint Range
The Hotpoint range by GE has many standard features, such as surface burners, an oven with bake controls, broiler and self-clean option and a control panel with a timer and clock display pad. While the oven should operate well and cook food as expected, sometimes the oven may not seem to achieve or maintain an accurate temperature. If this is the case, set the oven controls to 350 degrees and place a food thermometer inside the oven. Once the oven has preheated for 15 minutes, if the oven temperature on the thermometer is either above or below 350 degrees, you will need to calibrate your oven. Does this Spark an idea?
