Instructions

    • 1

Shut off the water supply to the faucet by turning the shutoff valves under the sink or the main water shutoff for the home. Turn the valves completely clockwise to stop water flow to the faucet.

    • 2

Position yourself on your back under the sink. Use a flashlight to illuminate the plumbing under the sink.

    • 3

Locate the sprayer hose and trace it to where it connects to the faucet diverter. Use an adjustable wrench to turn the hose fitting counterclockwise to loosen it. Remove it completely by hand once it is loose enough.

    • 4

Loosen the plastic nut underneath the sprayer shroud in the sink top with a pair of slip-joint pliers. Remove the nut completely.

    • 5

Pull out the old hose and shroud from the top of the sink and dispose of them.

    • 6

Insert the sprayer shroud provided with the new hose into the hole on the sink top. Fasten the nut onto the threaded part of the shroud underneath the sink and tighten it with the slip-joint pliers. Do not over-tighten the nut or you may crack the shroud.

    • 7

Feed the end of the hose with the fitting through the shroud until the spray handle can be set into the shroud. From under the sink, hand-thread the fitting end of the hose onto the faucet diverter where the old one was removed. Tighten the fitting with the adjustable wrench. Restore the water supply.
