How to Rebuild Plesk SSH in Apache
Apache servers are used to house a website or downloadable files for connectivity on the internet. Plesk is an operating system on the server. SSH (Secure Shell) is a file transfer protocol used to transfer files on a server. If you would like to rebuild the SSH capabilities on your Plesk operating system, you need to update the operating system (OS). Updating the OS on your Apache server will update and rebuild the SSH capabilities on the server.

Log into your Plesk operating system and then click on the “Update” icon from the home screen. The “Update” button is located on the right side of the home screen.

Double click on the Plesk version that you want to install on the server from the menu that appears.

Click on the updates that are needed for your Plesk operating system. These will have a yellow circle next to them.

Click on the “Install” button and wait for the server to complete the update. Click on the “Restart” option when prompted.

Wait for the server to restart. The SSH capabilities will be updated once the server restarts.
