The customizable "LittleBigPlanet" offers several pre-made and user-made levels to progress through, as well as the tools to create and share your own levels. Once you start playing the story, however, the only way to reset your progress on your PlayStation profile is to delete the save data.

Turn on your PlayStation 3 console and sign in to your PlayStation Network profile. Be sure to sign in to the profile whose save file you want to reset.

Navigate over to the Game category, selecting "Saved Data Utility." This displays a list of all save files you've created on the console with the active profile.

Highlight the "LittleBigPlanet" save file. The name of the game and a representative icon appear in the list to indicate the correct file.

Press "Triangle" to open the sidebar menu. Select "Delete" and confirm with "X" to delete the file. You don't need to restart the console after this; the file is permanently gone.

Load "LittleBigPlanet." The game now acts like it did the first time you started it, introducing the development team and allowing players to customize the protagonist, Sackboy.

Tips

If you don't want to lose your saved data, you can back it up to a USB stick first. Saved game files can be backed up, but not installed game data.

Warnings

On the PlayStation Vita version, you must delete all of the game's data and reinstall it to get a clean save.
