How to Change a Belkin Wireless Router From Personal to Shared
Belkin manufactures a line of wireless routers that can be used to create a local Wi-Fi network in your home or office. When configuring your Belkin router through the Web browser interface, you have the option to choose between several modes of network security. WPA/WPA-2 Personal is a form of network security that requires every user and device to enter a password when connecting to the wireless network. If you would prefer to make your network shared and open to the public, you can disable security completely.
