How to Attach Just Married Signs to Cars
With wedding plans in motion, make the couple some extra memories by attaching a “Just Married” sign attached to the back their getaway car. Most tape that is strong enough to hold the sign in place while the car is moving is also strong enough to damage the vehicle's paint job. Attaching the sign with some string will ensure it stays in place without adding any extra damage cost to the newlyweds.

1
Lay the sign down on a flat surface. Place the tip of an art knife on one of the corners of the sign and press down to cut into the sign. Continue moving the knife in a circle as you cut through the sign until you create a small hole. Repeat this for the other three corners of the sign.
-
2
Insert a string through the hole in the bottom right corner and tie a knot to the rest of the string. Use a second string and repeat this step for the bottom left corner of the sign.

3
Run the strings through the inside trunk and pull the strings out over the back end of the trunk lid, where the hinges are.
-
4
Pull the strings over the trunk and back towards the sign. Keep pulling the strings until the sign presses closely against the car surface, then close the trunk.
-
5
Pull the strings through the upper holes in the sign. The lower right string should be inserted through the upper right hole, while the lower left string should be inserted in the upper left hole. Keep pulling until the top of the sign presses back against the car.
-
6
Tie a knot between the remaining end and the main section of the string. Do this for both strings, then cut off any remaining material.
